Hats off to Hayley

II always enjoy losing myself in your magazine each month, but your June issue has totally made my day. As a Nicky Pellegrino fan (seriously, I’ve just read four of her books in the past three weeks), I loved reading her article on Hayley Holt. Hayley sounds amazing and I look forward to seeing her fresh take on things as she helps shake up NZ a little. She’s got a lot of guts and I think opening up about her struggles just shows how strong she is and how ready she is to take this next stage of life on. It takes courage to lay our weaknesses in front of others. For those of us who have overcome struggles in our lives, watch out world... we’re the ones who will forge a trail instead of walking the path of others before us.

I also appreciated the travel piece on Florence as I’m heading there in August with my hubby. For our 10th anniversary we’ll be trotting around a few spots in Italy but I’ve always been excited about Florence, so reading a little about it got me all excited! Reading Nicky’s books has sparked a keen interest in trying everything edible while I’m over there too...

So thanks for another great and inspiring issue!
