Stores require a lot of energy

NEXT (New Zealand) - - Success Story -

I couldn’t believe how much time it took to set up the physical store. I thought, ‘Oh yes, I’ll just whip up a store!’ No! And the ongoing maintenance is huge. Online, you’re loading products and processing orders. In a store, it always has to look great and change constantly, so you’re forever rearranging and cleaning and ordering, moving things around, re-merchandising. As a business owner, it’s ‘What hat do I put on now?’ Buyer hat! Accounts hat! Marketing hat! Sales hat! Employer hat! There are so many hats, you’ve got to be flexible all the time.
