LISA MATSON LUCAS PAPAW OINTMENT, $12 This is my go-to when I need to deal to dry lips and skin while on a job. It works quickly with dramatic results. I even use it sometimes to give skin and eye makeup a high sheen finish or to smooth dry hair ends. L’ORÉAL PARIS MAGIC RETOUCH, $20 This has been a life-saver for some of my clients. Once hair is styled and set it’s just a matter of spraying the right shade to the areas where greys and/or regrowth can be seen.

JULES ARMISHAW MAYBELLINE NEW YORK GREAT LASH MASCARA, $15 I love the great wand on this mascara; you can really give lashes a good coat. It’s quite wet, which gives an even coat from roots to ends and helps to extend lashes. BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO, $12 Spray your roots for an instant quick fix for volume and texture. It now comes in different shades so you don’t get visible product in your hair.

LAUREN GUNN ARDELL BROW BUILDING FIBER GEL, $22 This is one of my favourites because the tones are cool and ashy, mimicking natural brow shades well. It has a good applicator and stays silky on your brow. REVLON PHOTOREADY EYE ART LID + LINE + LASH, $23.50 Such a steal, with two complementary colours in each tube. The wands make it easy to apply, although I often use my fingertips. The texture is silky so it can be easily blended and layered.

CHAY ROBERTS MAC STROBE CREAM, $25 I love to apply this before foundation to give the skin a subtle radiance. On the high points of the face it allows the skin to appear more glowing but not greasy looking. LA GIRL PRO COVERAGE FOUNDATION, $22.50 The brand as a whole is great but I’m particularly impressed with their foundation. The lightweight formulation gives a light to medium coverage with a slight satin finish.

FIONA GODDARD MARIO BADESCU FACIAL SPRAY WITH ALOE, CUCUMBER AND GREEN TEA, $10 You can use this to refresh and hydrate bare skin, or to set the makeup once finished to give a beautiful dewy effect. MECCA MAX SUNLIT SKIN BRONZING POWDER IN LIGHT, $24 A great shade that won’t make you look orange! Easy to blend and comes in light, medium and dark so you can find a shade to suit your skin tone.
