North Harbour News - - NEWS -

During the Christmas season when gifts are given and received we may become owners of goods that, through no fault of the giver, are faulty or unsafe.

If you find yourself in this position, you can contact your local Citizen’s Advice Bureau for free advice.

CAB is a front line for all con- sumer inquiries and can help in many instances, such as goods that do not meet the guarantee, are of unacceptable quality, are unsafe, or even if they do not meet the description on the packaging.

The CAB can provide help and practical advice with just about any issue that may arise over the holiday season. These include relationship issues, budgeting advice, food parcels, drug and alcohol dependency and a JP service.

Details on your nearest Citizen’s Advice Bureau can be found on the website www. cab. org. nz, or phone 0800-367-222.
