North Harbour News - - YOUR PAPER, YOUR PLACE -

North Shore police are calling for the public to help them solve crimes by providing information anonymously to its Crimestoppers phone line 0800 555 111 . Area prevention manager North Shore and acting inspector Jason Homan said the information the public provide police through Crimestoppers is invaluable and helps police help the community. ‘‘We are particularly interested in anyone who has information on burglaries, drugs and robberies, at the moment. However, we will always act on any information received if it proves to be credible.’’ Crimestoppers is 100% confidential and anonymity is guaranteed. Police just ask people to provide as much information as they can to give us the best chance of acting on it, Homan says.
