FOCUS ON PARTY VOTE
ACT deputy leader, Beth Houlbrooke, announced that she will not be standing in the Rodney electorate, instead, she will focus on campaigning for the party vote around the country. ‘‘Over the next nine weeks, I will be busy promoting ACT’s policies,’’ Houlbrooke said. ‘‘My role as deputy leader is to continue to promote the party vote message and support our forty candidates across New Zealand. As current chair of the Rodney Local Board, I will continue to prioritise my local duties separate from my ongoing ACT campaigning,’’ she said.
