TO Marion, who submitted some of these. I appreciate good ideas with the emphasis on good. Humour is personal.

TO: The BB Warehouse for trimming the vegetation by the footpath. People can now walk from the zebra crossing to the bus stop without getting wet from wet leaves.

TO: Modern clothes driers, so simple to use even husbands can do it.

TO: Slow cookers. They fill the kitchen with wonderful aromas and the promise of warmth in this cold, wet weather.

TO: The driver who rocketed at high speed through the red light at Elliot St on a recent morning. Luckily the two first drivers on the one way system were a bit slow off the mark. If they hadn’t been one at least would have been wiped out.

TO: The lazy blighter who dropped their coffee cup in the bus shelter by Warehouse Bell Block. It was four steps from coffee cup to rubbish bin.

TO: Metiria Turei who thinks that people won’t realise she is just making excuses for breaking the law. She never was a struggling solo mum. She had family, flatmates and the father of her child all contributing. She tells fibs and she has been busted.
