MURRAY CHONG NEW ZEALAND FIRST

North Taranaki Midweek - - MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE AUCKLAND -

New Zealand First plans to give 25 per cent of mineral levies and visitor GST spending back to the original region of origin. As Taranaki gives more to the government in levies per head of capita than any other region, then just this one policy would benefit Taranaki by up to $50-100 million per year.

Our Partnership Schools policy will help target the lower 10 per cent of kids who are being left out of our education system. There are children in Taranaki who are being failed by our education system. Our state-funded partnerships schools will enable a flexible, diverse and creative education system that ensures every NZ child gets the best start at education and life.
