North Taranaki Midweek - - YOUR LOCAL NEWS -

The New Plymouth branch of SeniorNet was formed in 1997 with 23 foundation members. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 50, who wishes to learn how to use modern communication equipment and systems; or who have these skills and are willing and able to share them with those wishing to learn.

Currently SeniorNet is looking for more tutors /or assistant tutors as well as course and workshop leaders to help with an ever increasing demand. The most urgent need is for help with Apple Mac equipment and programmes - the main requests are for assistance with IPad and IPhones.

However there is also a need for people with knowledge of tablets and smart phones who are willing to share their knowledge.

Seniornet New Plymouth is part of a nationwide network and therefore has resources available that have been developed to help you share your knowledge.

Do you have an interest in computers / digital technology? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge?
