An extraordinary number of volunteers (18 years and over) are required to help with some fantastic sporting events in New Plymouth.

The first is the ITU Triathlon World Cup on Sunday, March 25 with 65 volunteers needed, then Weetbix KidsTRYathlon on Wednesday March 28 with 150 volunteers needed and then on Sunday April 8 the Mitre 10 Rainbow Run where 60 volunteers are needed.

The volunteer roles will mostly centre around marshalling so it is not hard work and the hours can be arranged to suit the time that you have to share. We would love to have your names early so that Terry of Sport Taranaki can undertake briefings etc.

If volunteering for either Red Cross or Sport Taranaki appeals to you then please contacting Marie at the Volunteering New Plymouth on (06) 758 8986, text / phone cell 027 541 0577 or email coordinator@volunteeringnewply to take that next step, she is keen to hear from you.
