Stu­dents play their part

Kim­i­hia School re­cently wowed whanau and friends with its colour­ful pro­duc­tion Que Sera.

The show told the story of a stu­dent’s pro­gres­sion through their years at Kim­i­hia School.

Scenes in­cluded mo­ments in time when the stu­dent re­mem­bered learn­ing the al­pha­bet and the sounds let­ters made, show­ing the virtues of courage, en­thu­si­asm and ad­ven­ture when they tried new things, Duffy Books, car­ing for the en­vi­ron­ment, the Ralph Mine dis­as­ter, kapa haka, and school camps.

Prin­ci­pal Kirsten Ratana said she was proud of ev­ery­one and ac­knowl­edged the com­mit­ment given to the pro­duc­tion.

INTO CHARACTER: Kingston Cobb took on the role of Koro while Re­la­nee Ker­apa-Ormsby played Nanny.

TWINS: Wil­liam and Martin Lowen, 5, get into character.
