North Waikato News - - YOUR PAPER, YOUR PLACE -

The community of Huntly West is blessed to have local couple Richard and Dolly Tumai serving up kindness - and hearty burgers - each week from their road-side stall.

The pair are on a kind-hearted mission to help their community - those struggling with day to day living - which seems to be getting more expensive week in week out.

They serve up the world famous in Huntly ‘easy burger’ chock-full with eggs, onions and bacon, but as Caitlin reports on page 1 - they are not there to make a profit.

Instead, after covering their own costs, the couple inject their profits back into the community - distributing to where the money is needed most, helping out the town’s most needy.

‘‘Most of the time we struggle to get our money back, but that doesn’t faze us,’’ Richard said.

The North Waikato needs more community-driven people like Richard and Dolly - thanks for all you do.
