North Waikato News - - YOUR LOCAL NEWS -

After three and a half years in community journalism, it’s time to say goodbye with Friday being my last day.

My journey started at South Waikato News in Tokoroa fresh out of WINTEC. I had a lot to learn as a complete newbie.

From there I moved onto motherhood and then back into work at North Waikato News when my son was just five months old.

It was scary, nerve-racking and exciting.

The North Waikato has provided me with some unique experiences and I’m grateful for that and all the supportive and wonderful people I’ve met along the way.

There’s been many people who have positively impacted my view on the world, too many to name however, but I just want you to know that you are the people that make this community special.

It’s been a blast - and now there are new adventures to be had.
