Totally crazy how long crashed vehicles are left in their last position off the road. I’ve been told it’s due to insurance, or the lack of it, once a recovery cost is placed on the owner of the vehicle. Seems rather than enforcing the cost onto the owner, the owner has the right to say ‘not my problem’.
