Northern News - - HOME & GARDEN -

‘They don’t make things the way they used to’. How many times have you heard that?

It’s why many people who are building or renovating look for recycled products. As well as finding good quality, they often save themselves some cash in the process.

Back 2 Wood Demolition is a locally owned and operated business, run by brother and sister team, Lennon and Rachel Pickett, who are carrying on their mothers’ legacy. They have been in business for themselves for 10 years this year so they must be doing a lot of things well!

They specialise in recycled wooden and aluminium windows and doors - from a single item like a ranchslider or set of french doors to whole house lots of joinery (mainly aluminium) for that new build or re-fit.

Back 2 Wood Demolition offer an impressive selection of good quality stock sourced from all over the country.

They also sell complete kitchens, vanities, roofing iron, native tongue and groove flooring and tapware for all your renovation needs!

Their latest stock lines are 20 foot shipping containers and cabins as well.

Email or phone Rachel with what you require and she’ll reply to you with photos, sizes and prices.

They can deliver to central Kerikeri, central Whangarei and Auckland and can arrange delivery nationwide with some items going as far as the South Island.

The internet has certainly helped business at Back 2 Wood Demolition a lot. People don’t even need to leave the comfort of their home these days. Although Lennon and Rachel do get people travelling up from as far as Auckland. So don’t bother looking anywhere else for windows and doors - these guys have it all and more!

To celebrate 10 years in business they will have some never to be repeated specials so take a drive up, it will be worth the trip!

Sale ends this Saturday, September 9 at 2pm.
