CLOSING FOR GOOD

On August 31, all BNZ stores will be ‘Closed for Good’ as more than 3200 staff volunteer on 530 community projects around the country. North Canterbury BNZ staff will be helping with cleaning up the resources room at Amuri Area School in Culverden, planting trees in Silverstream Reserve, Clarkville, painting at Kaiapoi North School and tidying and repairing resources and sizing kapahaka uniforms at Woodend School. All BNZ staff receive two volunteer days a year to help across every sector of the community – from supporting local schools or their town Plunket group, to helping with environmental clean-up efforts and running workshops at the Citizens Advice Bureau. All BNZ stores will be closed for the day.
