FROM THE EDITOR
Well, I asked for it. My request for suggestions for 45 things to accomplish before my 45th birthday heralded some great ideas.
I added many to what I had already considered, and have whittled it down to 45 things some that scare the daylights out of me, some that I’m really excited to try, and some that promise to add a fair bit of fun and excitement into my life.
One thing I have been surprised by has been the enthusiasm which other people have greeted my plan. I may even be guilty of triggering similar goal-setting exercises in other people, which is kind of special.
While it’s a light-hearted and reasonably guilt-free exercise (I’m not going to be destitute if I don’t complete everything), it has spurred me on to greater and more exciting things.
I don’t want to wait until I’m on my death bed before I start ticking off my bucket list. That started last week, when I knocked one thing off my list – performing in front of an audience.
Now, what next?
