There are four drive modes; Normal, Sport, Track and Drift and these affect six settings; the AWD system, engine response, the two-stage dampers, steering weight, stability control and the exhaust valve. Sport changes engine, steering and sound, leaving Track to firm the dampers, and reduce the ESC threshold. Drift is the new ‘Ken Block’ mode. It’s an ESC setting with a very wide slip angle but it also tells the AWD system to send most of the drive rearwards and switches the damping back to normal which helps the back end break loose more easily. The steering also reverts to Normal, the lesser weighting helping to catch the slide.
