McLaren continues to grow its line up with the new 570GT, a comfort version of the 570S. The GT adds more refinements and more luggage space with a new ‘Touring Deck’ and a side-opening rear glass hatch on top of the engine. The GT also gets a panoramic glass roof and the interior is lined with more leather and more convenience items have been fitted as standard. It’s a bit heavier and slower than the S and the suspension is tuned more toward comfort with the GT-specific P Zeros having less rigid sidewalls for a better ride.
The Abarth version of the Fiat 124 Spider has been revealed. It gets a racier appearance and a slightly more powerful engine tune, the 1.4 turbopetrol boosted to 126kW and 250Nm. But the really scorching Scorpion comes in the form of the rally version built to comply with the FIA’s new R-GT class. The 1.4 is replaced by a 223kW 1.8 turbo and it has adjustable suspension and a sequential six-speed box. It gets a composite hardtop and full cage, and with all its other race spec items, it costs around three times as much as the road going Abarth at €150,000.
