“Some of my grand­chil­dren will eat any­thing. Over the hol­i­days, I dis­cov­ered pop­corn cau­li­flower while I had a glut in the gar­den. Dip the flo­rets in beaten egg and crushed rice bub­bles, then fry briefly un­til golden. They’re crunchy, sweet and de­li­cious, es­pe­cially when dipped in a sauce.
