Leopard’s bane ‘Harpur Crewe’ and blue blooms

NZ Gardener - - In Season -

Dorinicum x excelsum ‘Harpur Crewe’ is one of the few members of the daisy family to flower from early spring onwards, and though it dies down by summer, each cheerful flower is a bold complement to any blue groundcover, whether it is ajugas, rosemary, brunnera or forget-me-nots. Leopard’s bane is an easy-going plant for almost any soil though it likes a certain amount of moisture.
