Fuchsia magellanica ‘Versicolor’
This hardy and elegant form of shrubby fuchsia has smoky grey leaves and elegant tapered flowers. All fuchsias are long-performing stalwarts of the summer garden and extra useful because they deadhead themselves – less work for the gardener! I always plant them up a bank or on a terrace wall where you can look up at those glowing tassles. Just prune them to the ground each spring.
