is an award-winning writer and photographer. She began her career as a nature photographer in 1989 then began specialising in equine magazine work in 1993. As much as she loved nature photography, the subject she knew best was horses. Today she is well known in the publishing industry and her work appears each month in leading horse magazines. An avid horsewoman, when not taking pictures, she takes care of her little herd of four Arabians that have been part of her life for over 30 years. Her small farm is in the USA in the state of Maine, but she thinks of New Zealand as her home away from home and has enjoyed riding on the beaches of Golden Bay and the hills of the South Kaipara Peninsula. She looks forward to getting back to visit one of these days to spend time with her Kiwi family and friends.
