GREEN POWER SMOOTHIE
Try this and be amazed at just how good greens can be as breakfast fare. For best results, slice and freeze the banana the night before.
For a single serve, place a sliced banana in a blender with a handful of washed, chopped greens such as kale, silverbeet, spinach leaves, parsley, mint, coriander, basil or any salad greens. Add a cup of liquid – water, coconut water or fruit juice all work well – along with a good pinch of ground cinnamon and a little honey if you like it sweeter. Blend until smooth and serve immediately.
