WE CREATED:

An easy update to a lampshade, using a Greek key motif with a geometric, modern, mid-century feel. Customising soft furnishings like cushions and lampshades can have an enormous impact on how a room feels.

HOW WE MADE IT:

We chose Samuel and Sons Greek Fret embroidered border in Leaf from Atelier Textiles, atelier.co.nz, and attached it to the shade with fabric adhesive.

THE DETAILS:

White Arte Pura Three Blaze pillowcase and cushion made in Rubelli Lady Roxana fabric in Primavera, both from Atelier Textiles, atelier.co.nz; Aviary queen duvet set $249.90 (includes two pillowcases) and Euca quilted bed runner $129.90, all from MM Linen, mmlinen.com; Amande lamp base $389 see CC Interiors for stockists, ccinteriors.co.nz; table and lampshade stylist’s own.
