DEEP IN A RENOVATION TOO

NZ House & Garden - - TALKBACK -

Sally, I’ve just opened my August issue, which, for the first time in a while, felt a bit like homework. Reading your editorial is like reading my own thoughts. We are knee-deep in our own renovation too. The family has moved to a little rental down the road and our gracious bungalow is standing forlornly, bottom exposed. This renovation has been a long time in the planing. It’s not our first, but it’s our most extensive. And what I thought I’d find exciting (choosing colours! Taps! Tiles!) is in fact daunting and worrisome. It gives me heart that an experienced pro such as yourself is so relatable for an ordinary mortal renovator like me. Good luck to you and your renovation.
