• You can vacuum-pack the dry ingredients as an alternative to jars, a spacesaver and still effective, but not quite as pretty.

• Print or photocopy labels aand cards in advance and kkeep them with your recipe books so you can easily find them when required.
• If you don’t have a funnel you can make one using a sheet of A4 paper. Roll the paper around your thumb. Gently pull the top to widen it until you have a funnel shape and a thumb-sized hole at the bottom, then use sticky tape to hold it in place.
