ADULT WEIGHT: 5-7kg LITTER SIZE: large, 6-12 kits
The Flemish Giant is a very large rabbit, but it’s typically not grown for meat unless you’re patient and not as interested in the
economics of feed-to-meat conversion. Flemish Giants spend most of their first year growing a heavy bony carcase, and take much longer to grow to reasonable eating size. However, if you want a breed where young rabbits could be sold on as pets and you ate those which don’t sell, they can be reasonable.
