10-12 Brus­sels sprouts 1tbsp veg­etable oil 1 tbsp grated or­ange rind ¼ cup freshly squeezed or­ange juice 1 tbsp sugar ¼ tsp ground ginger 2 tbsp finely chopped pars­ley ½ tsp corn­flour Slice a small cross in the base of each sprout. Boil for 5-10 min­utes or un­til ten­der. Drain and keep hot. Make the sauce while the Brus­sels sprouts are cook­ing. Place oil in a saucepan and add the re­main­ing in­gre­di­ents. Blend well and heat gen­tly, stir­ring fre­quently un­til thick. Pour sauce over the Brus­sels sprouts and serve. This hot or­ange

MI­CROWAVE

Place Brus­sels sprouts in a mi­crowave proof dish and add 2 tbsp wa­ter. Cover and cook on high power for 6-8 min­utes. Keep hot. Mix re­main­ing in­gre­di­ents to­gether and cook on high power for 1 minute. Stir well.
