In the July issue of NZ Lifestyle Block, there was a recipe for breadmaker winter pesto pinwheels (DIY Food). I don’t have a breadmaker, but thought I would make them by hand anyway.
I also didn’t have the right ingredients at the time for pesto so used the little bit I had left in the freezer from summer, and added my homemade tomato chutney.
Oh my gosh. They were delish, so, so easy and so, so yum. I will definitely be trying these again. They’re pictured just about to come out of the oven.
