With some strength­en­ing and with the ad­di­tion of two lon­gi­tu­di­nal runs of tim­ber (boat-builders would call them stringers), it was time to con­tem­plate the plas­tic cov­er­ing. Not the sort of thing you chuck on your shoul­der, race up a lad­der and roll out while bal­anc­ing both you and it atop a 50mm-wide ridge­board!
