Meet some of the NZ’S most eligible rural bachelors
THIS YEAR, eight rural bachelors from New Zealand and Australia will compete to find the strongest, the fastest, the smartest and the most charming to crown Rural Bachelor of the Year. This really is the opportunity of a lifetime for these good, keen blokes, who will enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to Fieldays, and the opportunity to find fame, fortune and love, with all eyes on them. This year the competition kicks off with a road trip, with all finalists meeting in Auckland on the Monday morning before Fieldays and spending the next two days completing various challenges and activities. Once at Fieldays, the vachelors will have their skills, attitude and all-round charisma tested in a number of competitive challenges, from speed fencing to speed dating, log splitting to dog training. The challenges are largely agricultural-based but will have a few fun twists thrown in to test the character of these rural men.
