Violas Viola

NZ Lifestyle Block - - DIY FOOD -

Heartsease ( Viola tricolor) olor) grows wild in our gardenen and is still among our favourite urite garnishes. Put it against st a green salad, and the tiny, whiskered iskered purple and yellow faceses sing. Better yet, even in mid-winterer I can find some in the garden.

Once established, theyhey will selfseed readily, producing interesting colour variations. I enjoy watching what these promiscuous little plants come up with.

However, any small-faced viola can be used.
