TIP OF THE MONTH
Autumn is a good time to use a de-worming product as you won’t need to worry about egg witholding times. Adults birds tend to be fairly immune to worm burdens, but if they are living in a small area, a twiceyearly worming regime is a good idea. If you haven’t already done it, clean out your coop, treat it for red mites, and replace all bedding in nest boxes and on the floor, ideally with untreated pine wood chips which are less likely to harbour fungi and bacteria.
