She also runs cour­ses for peo­ple on how to be self-suf­fi­cient. You get to share in her life for a week, learn­ing nine prac­ti­cal mod­ules. These range from how to milk a cow, to mak­ing but­ter, yo­ghurt and cheese, how to process meat, machin­ery main­te­nance, veg­etable gar­den tech­niques, tree graft­ing and more, plus block de­sign, pas­ture man­age­ment, poul­try-keep­ing (other than chick­ens!), pigs, and nat­u­ral farm­ing philoso­phies.
