NOT ALL electrolytes on the market are created equal, which is why Vetpak recommends using Enerlect in your calves’ feed.

It is a high energy source, but also supplies all the important electrolytes lost during diarrhoea caused by infectious agents, a nutritional imbalance, or dehydration.

Enerlect also acts to correct the acidosis that is a common feature of serious diarrhoea in calves.

Enerlect has higher levels of energy than most electrolyte replacers on the market and has been developed to better meet the needs of scouring calves.

When calves have been collected from the sale yard or brought onto the farm, each calf should be given 2-litres of electrolyte solution to ensure they are rehydrated following transport before milk feeding begins. ENERLECT IS AVAILABLE FROM YOUR LOCAL VETERINARY CLINIC. FOR MORE PRODUCT INFORMATION VISIT WWW.VETPAK.CO.NZ
