Use of equip­ment that may in­jure horses

Any equip­ment used on a horse must not cause in­juries. This in­cludes cuts and abra­sions that bleed, cause dis­charge or swell.

Equip­ment can in­clude, but is not lim­ited to: hal­ters, bri­dles, lead ropes, bits, and nose­bands.

Equip­ment used on a horse must al­low the horse to breathe and drink nor­mally; Sad­dles and cov­ers must fit cor­rectly; Horses that wear equip­ment need to be checked daily. FINE: $300
