Cel­e­brat­ing 20 years, Big Boys Toys is back this Novem­ber (16–18) at ASB Show­grounds in Auck­land packed to the brim with fresh doses of in­no­va­tion and en­ter­tain­ment to mark the oc­ca­sion. En­com­pass­ing all things au­to­mo­tive, life­style, and con­sumer elec­tron­ics, this year will fea­ture six halls of rad­ness. The Driven Hall prom­ises the coun­try’s premier au­to­mo­tive brands and prod­ucts — and this year you can throw it back to the ’90s with the Mirth Mo­bile from Wayne’s World. The Su­per Car 2018 show­case will have the kind of steel you only dream of touch­ing; Elec­tric Av­enue will take a look at the elec­tric ve­hi­cle (EV) scene on the come up; the Mam­moth Ac­tion Arena is set to bring to­gether some of the world’s top-tier ex­treme sport ath­letes, in­clud­ing BMX le­gend Jed Mil­don, who will drop from the 8m high Mam­moth Mega Ramp; and the Jack Daniels BBQ Al­ley will see 30 com­pet­i­tive BBQ teams from Aus­trala­sia bat­tling it out for over $10K in prizes; and, along­side all that will be the Big Boys Toys Mu­sic zone, CCNZ Con­struc­tion Zone, Life­style and Elec­tron­ics hall, and The Ul­ti­mate Garage.
