JASE BROWN DROPS FRESH LIVERY AHEAD OF WTAC
Hamilton-based Jase Brown has unveiled a new livery for the ‘07 Frankenstein’ ahead of his international debut at the 2018 World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC) in October. A busy off season for the team has seen the car, including the supercharged 1UZ-FE race engine, completely refreshed — although actual changes have been kept to a minimum as the team felt that what it had in 2017–’18 was a solid platform. The only change has been a Direct Clutch Services 8.5-inch twin-plate, as the old Tilton needed to be replaced almost every round.
The new livery is essentially the next evolution of the signature green and black we’ve come to know so well, only this time it’s been taken to the next level with some trick vinyls from CL Auto. A cool touch is the roof, which bears the names of personal supporters who helped fund the team’s first international event. It’s one of those liveries that is near impossible to capture on camera, but it will certainly pop under those Sydney Motorsport Park lights — helped by the flame show Jase is promising.
