There’s a reason Terry’s driver profile picture is behind the wheel of an R33 GT-R N1.

“Style and chuckability” are the words Terry uses to explain the R33. When asked which of the trio is his favourite N1 Skyline, his answer is simple: “I might be showing my age, but actually I’m an unabashed R33 GT-R fan. Reason? It’s a delight to let the rear end hang out as I go through hairpin bends near my home, while still exercising total control of the vehicle.”

After enjoying the R32 and R34 N1s for a number of years, Terry’s friends kept a loose eye out for an R33 N1. However, Terry was busy having a great time with his current duo, so nothing serious really came of it, and it wasn’t until 2016 that Terry took the hunt up a notch. After turning down several examples, he eventually found another grade 4B car in Japan. He contacted Iron Chef Imports in Australia to make the bid for him, but, with another Australian buyer interested, a tender had to be made.
