Been a di cult summer for them, losing way too much experience and quality. Stephen Moore might be a giant whiny pants but he’s a decent player and they will miss him. They will miss David Pocock and Matt Toomua a lot more, though. Especially Toomua, whose defence was aggressive and influential and he also gave them a good voice in the midfield.

A safety first team that still relies too heavily on the driving maul as their key attacking weapon. Put it this way, they won’t keep you on the edge of your seat and until they are willing and/or able to stretch teams wider, they are going to be boring to watch and not so hard to beat. GUT FEEL – RISERS OR FALLERS? Definitely fallers. Have lost too many good players and the fact coach Stephen Larkham is committing full-time to the Wallabies is not a good sign things are on the up. Have also been troubled by financial issues. WHERE WILL THEY FINISH? Because of the lack of competition they will again be in a tight race to win the Australian Conference. They made it last year, but we can’t see them doing it again. Will probably come up at least one win short.
