We don’t mean that the All Blacks sud­denly be­came good or bet­ter when we say re­ju­ve­na­tion. What we re­ally mean is that they changed rad­i­cally in per­son­nel.

They ended up hav­ing to dig way deeper into their tal­ent pool than they imag­ined they would. They were forced to play with­out Ben Smith, Owen Franks, Joe Moody, Dane Coles, Is­rael Dagg and Brodie Re­tal­lick for long pe­ri­ods of the season.
