The Regeneration of the All Blacks
We don’t mean that the All Blacks suddenly became good or better when we say rejuvenation. What we really mean is that they changed radically in personnel.
They ended up having to dig way deeper into their talent pool than they imagined they would. They were forced to play without Ben Smith, Owen Franks, Joe Moody, Dane Coles, Israel Dagg and Brodie Retallick for long periods of the season.
So by the middle of the Rugby Championship Kane Hames, Nepo Laulala, Ofa Tu’ungafasi and Scott Barrett were regulars in the match day 23.As were other youngsters such as Damian McKenzie, Rieko Ioane and Anton Lienert-Brown, with the likes
