RISING STAR: WILL JORDAN

Outside back Jordan, a New Zealand Under 20s player, impressed hugely with the Tasman Mako in his first season in 2017, and has shown composure and ability every time he steps up a level.

This will be his first season with the Crusaders and his greatest strength is his pace and try-scoring ability. Jordan doesn’t turn 20 until February this year and is set for a big future.

With the likes of Israel Dagg and Ryan Crotty in the Crusaders backline, Jordan has some pretty good examples to follow. Keep an eye too on Ethan Blackadder [son of], the loose forward has the same tough approach and high workrate as his father.
