No one would have predicted that after half an hour the score would be New Zealand 10, Namibia nine.

It was an incredible half hour from the Africans and a terrible one for New Zealand as their attitude was poor, discipline not good enough and general accuracy all over the place.

When Nepo Laulala was yellow carded for a high tackle there was a sense of things falling apart, But a couple of tries just before half-time and then a tune up from Steve Hansen saw the All Blacks kick into gear and produce the sort of rugby we had been expecting.

In the second half the attitude improved. The All Blacks were more direct, held the ball when they needed to and on the back of that, their attack flowed and they stretched out for a big win.
