is a two-time Qan­tas Me­dia Awards fi­nal­ist and was pre­vi­ously the Busi­ness Ed­i­tor for 3 News and co-host of TVNZ's Good Morn­ing Show. Prior to this, she worked as a pro­ducer for CNN's flag­ship busi­ness pro­gramme Moneyline in New York and as a reporter for ABC af­fil­i­ate WTNH in Con­necti­cut. Sarah has writ­ten for House and Gar­den, Next Mag­a­zine, New Idea, Woman's Weekly and the New Zealand Her­ald and will con­tinue in her role as a reporter for One News at Six. She loves singing jazz and of­ten per­forms the Great Amer­i­can Song­book and French stan­dards with her singing part­ner Monica Louis at well-known venues around New Zealand.

Sarah is an avid snow skier, scuba diver and ad­ven­turer and likes to get away in her 1962 Tri­umph TR4 as of­ten as she can to see the coun­try. In her first is­sue as ed­i­tor, she braves a wet and wild day to travel an un­used rail­way track by golf cart (yes golf cart!) on the For­got­ten World High­way in the Whanganui dis­trict.

Sarah has a Bach­e­lor of Man­age­ment Stud­ies with Hon­ours from the Univer­sity of Waikato and a Mas­ter of In­ter­na­tional Re­la­tions with Merit from Vic­to­ria Univer­sity. She lives in Wellington and is mother to eight-year-old Melinda.
