Sarah has written for House and Garden, Next Magazine, New Idea, Woman's Weekly and the New Zealand Herald and will continue in her role as a reporter for One News at Six. She loves singing jazz and often performs the Great American Songbook and French standards with her singing partner Monica Louis at well-known venues around New Zealand.
Sarah is an avid snow skier, scuba diver and adventurer and likes to get away in her 1962 Triumph TR4 as often as she can to see the country. In her first issue as editor, she braves a wet and wild day to travel an unused railway track by golf cart (yes golf cart!) on the Forgotten World Highway in the Whanganui district.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours from the University of Waikato and a Master of International Relations with Merit from Victoria University. She lives in Wellington and is mother to eight-year-old Melinda.
