Suzuki Extreme 4x4 Challenge
It’s almost here so make sure Sunday March 26 is clear. That’s the day Dan Cowper is running this year’s Suzuki Extreme 4x4 Challenge.
The only event of its kind in New Zealand, the Suzuki Challenge was created and is hosted by Dan’s business, CowperTrucks. Held at 2278 SH3 Turakina ( near Whanganui, Ed) it will feature the best of the best drivers and 4x4 Trials competition vehicles in the country.
Vehicles and crews have been personally invited to test their skills against 12 extreme 4x4 courses.
This year FMX superstar Levi Sherwood is also locked and loaded as the Suzuki Extreme 4x4 Challenge 2017 guest driver.
Levi will be one of the 10 competing drivers and will pedal the current NZ1 CowperTruck.
Steep hills, vertical banks, massive jumps, mud and speed, combined with good food, easy spectator viewing and live commentary all makes for a fantastic day out with mates and family.
Start time is 9.00am and the event will be filmed for TV and screened via 4 x 30 min programmes on TV3’s CRC Motorsport show.
