There’s always one gauge that never seems to work right, and when it’s your speedo it needs to be sorted fast. Don’t dick around chasing the gremlin; install a HillSpeed digital speedometer — it uses GPS to determine speed, meaning it does not require calibration or connection to any vehicle system. The large, bright display is recessed to be shielded from the sun, and features audible and visual adjustable speed alerts that warn when the set speed is exceeded. Mount it wherever you like, using either double-sided tape or adhesive to allow easy removal when not required.
