Sailor nationality: Citizenship of country for 20% of the crew. Residency requirement for the remainder: must be physically in the country for 380 days from Sept 1 2018Sept 1 2020.

Nov 30, 2017: AC75 class concepts and drawings released.

Jan 1June 30, 2018: Entries for challengers open and close.

March 31, 2018: AC75 class rule published. Aug 31, 2018: Deadline for the regatta venue and racecourse to be confirmed.

March 31, 2019: First boat can be launched.

Second half of 2019: Two America’s Cup world series preliminary regattas.

Feb 1, 2020: Second boat can be launched. 2020: Three America’s Cup world series preliminary regattas.

Dec 1020, 2020: Final Christmas regatta.

JanFeb 2021: Prada Cup challenger series. March 2021: America’s Cup match.
