Violent attack in Dunedin

A WOMAN was punched, kicked and had her hair pulled in a serious assault in Dunedin over the weekend, police say.

Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said police were called about 2am on Saturday after an 18yearold woman assaulted two women in George St.

One of the victims was punched multiple times in the face, kicked and had her hair pulled.

The woman who carried out the alleged assault was arrested.
