Serious escooter injuries
AN escooter rider was seriously injured after colliding with a car in Dunedin yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said they were called to the crash in Kaikorai Valley Rd, near the intersection with Brockville Rd, at 4.50pm.
A reporter at the scene said the escooter rider was put into a St John ambulance about 5pm.
A large dent could be seen in the driver’s door of the car involved.
Three police cars, a fire appliance and an ambulance were at the scene. A St John spokesman said a man was taken to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition.
